Event Info & Rules - 2026 Best of Fairfield-Suisun

BEST OF FAIRFIELD-SUISUN BUZZ AWARDS 2026 RESERVATION LINK & SPONSORSHIP

Nominations:

  • Nominations can only be accepted in the published categories.
  • Nomination are only accepting by submitting them at https://fairfieldsuisun.voterfly.com/
  • Nominees will not be accepted via email or phone.
  • Nominations are only accepted in the General Categories. 
  • Nominations will be accepted August 11, 2026 through September 9, 2026.
  • The Legacy Award Nominees are Chamber Member Only Awards. (Nominations are not open to the public in these categories.)
  • Please do not claim the Nominees Page unless you are the Nominee or a representative of that company or organization.
  • Elected officials are not eligible for nominations.
  • Candidates for office are not eligible for nominations.

Nominee Eligibility: 

  • Nominees must be located in Fairfield, Suisun, Coredia, Suisun Valley and/or Rio Vista
  • Nominees must conduct the majority of business within these city limits
  • Nominees must have a valid business license in the above city or cities and/or hold an active membership in good standing with the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce.
  • Nominees in the General Categories can be nominated in a maximum of two categories
  • Eligibility is verified through the Business License databases, social media presence, official websites, and other reasonable methods. 
  • Eligibility is solely the discretion of the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce.

Legacy Buzz Awards: (Exclusive to Fairfield-Suisun Chamber Members)

  • . Legacy Buzz Awards (are indicated by the BEE icon/logos)
  • No Nominations will be accepted for these categories online.
  • A survey is sent to Fairfield-Suisun Chamber Members for Nominee Submissions.
  • A poll is sent to Fairfield-Suisun Chamber Members to Vote on the Nominees.
  • Only Nominees whose membership is in good standing will be accepted.
  • Chamber members are eigible to be nominated in one Legacy Award Category
  • Elected officials are not eligible to be nominated.

Voting Method and Requirements:

  • Votes can only be made by completing the online at https://fairfieldsuisun.voterfly.com/
  • No mail-in ballots will be accepted.
  • All voters must complete the entry with the following information including: Name, email address and any other required details, or the vote will not be counted.

Voting Limits:

  • Each person may vote only once per category.
  • Winners are chosen based on  the individual submissions who fill out the online voting ballot in completion.

Voting Period:

  • Voting will start on August 18, 2026 and ends on September 18, 2026.
  • All votes must be received by September 18, 2026.

Categories:

Once the Best of Campaign goes live we cannot add new categories.  All established categories are based on a cross-section and the number of those business types in both cities represented by business license reports.   If you would like us to consider a new category in future Best of's please submit your request to hunter@fairfieldsuisunchamber.com. Submission does not guarantee inclusion for next year based on the above parameters.

Category Limits:

  • Nominees may appear in up to two categories unless they qualify for a Legacy Award which is exclusive to Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce members.  In which case they may appear in a maximum of three categories.
  • Category placement is final once voting begins.
  • Changes to category selections are not permitted once voting begins.

Ballot Stuffing and Security Measures:

  • Votes suspected of being fraudulent such as bulk submission, automated voting, duplicate voter information, or attempts to bypass security may be subject to review and removed at the discretion of the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce.
  • We use automated software to detect and prevent fraudulent voting practices.

Disqualification and Conduct:

  • The Best of Fairfield-Suisun facilitators may disqualify any nominee or remove votes for violating the rules, engaging in inappropriate conduct include but are not limited to:
    • Misuse of official logos or marketing materials
    • Harassment or abusive behavior to participants, host or organization
    • Misrepresentation of the competition or campaign
    • Attempts to interfere with the fair operations of the competition
    • All decisions regarding conduct, eligibility, and disqualification are final

Permission and Use of Likeness:

  • By Participating in the Best of Fairfield-Suisun 2026 Buzz Awards you grant us permission to use your business name, likeness, and image in marketing and promotional materials related to the competition.

Results and Announcements:

  • All competition results are held privately by the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce.
  • Top Nominees will be notified if they qualified as a Top Nominee.
  • Winners will be announced on October 9th at the Best of Fairfield-Suisun 2026 Buzz Awards Red Carpet Celebration and Gala. 
  • Reservations to attend the event can be made using the link at the Top of the Event Info & Rules Page.
  • Winners will receive a plaque, promotional recognition and bragging rights.
  • Winners will be published on the Best of Fairfield-Suisun 2026 Buzz Awards website until the 2027 Campaign launches and may be included in the Best of Spotlights throughout the year.

Purpose of the Competition:

  • The goal of the Best of Fairfield-Suisun 2026 Buzz awards is to Honor The Best in Business and to create awareness of the great businesses we have in the Fairfield-Suisun area.  We aim to make the competition enjoyable for all participants.
